I don't recognize myself is so called artistic photography. I don't
recognize myself in contemporary photography. The above statement is not really
true. But I don't think I belong to that school. Some aesthetic
sides of my work does not really fit in contemporary art. And I don't
really want them to fit, even if I usually appreciate the contemporary
aesthetic. I don't think my approach and my concerns are far from
the contemporary ones.

points qui me pose difficulté.

Aesthetic.
For now aestheticism is one of the two points that trouble me. I don't
know the valid definition of aesthetic.
Aestheticism/Beauty
Aesthetic is the science of the beautiful. But the cause is judged :
beauty has no value. But, I have not found any work opposed to the
notion of beauty that fits me : I always find them beautifull !. The
target is not reached.
Aestheticism/Feeling
I like this dimension a lot. Aethete : the one who feels. This
interpretation is first an open door. She is accuratly in relation with
contemporary art who would like to reject aesthetic. The
only way to sort out in contemporary art is in terms of an aesthetic
choice. There is no reference value, and the intellectual analysis is
so often an intellectualistic one. In front of a work, either I feel
it or I don't. Just a question of feeling.
